Find Duplicate Linework

Used to locate duplicate linework and move or delete the linework. Duplicate linework is a linear element that shares the same coordinates and element type as another element. For complex chains containing arcs or curves, the coordinates of the stroked representation are compared. Duplicates may differ by level or element symbology.

Setting Description
Mode Determines how duplicate linework is handled.
  • Move - Moves all but the first duplicate element to the target level.
  • Delete - Deletes all but the first duplicate element.
  • Merge - Deletes all but the first duplicate element, except that any database and feature linkages from the deleted elements are moved to the first element.

Columns Sets the number of cells (in the grid) that the fence is cut in the X or horizontal direction.
